Louis E.Metzger IV

Louis Metzger is the head of basic research at Rejuvenate Bio, a company developing genetic therapies to treat age-related diseases, and co-founder of Deep Views, a scientific consulting and investment firm. Previously, at Tierra Biosciences, He helped to build an automated, cell-free “protein printing” platform. As a former scientist in Novartis Infectious Diseases, he founded and led a team that hunted for novel antibacterial molecules. His doctoral (Duke) and postdoctoral (UCSF) research lay at the intersection of enzymology, lipid biochemistry, and bacterial membrane biogenesis.
