Carrie Wang

Dr. Wang, an experienced surgeon and pharmacologist, has over 25 years’
experience in the development of medical products and combination products with
preclinical and early clinical stage companies. She directed in vivo studies at
Kardium as well as studies at Angiotech that led to the development of the drug
eluting Taxus® stents and was project leader for the development of 5-FU coated
central venous catheters at Angiotech.

At Xphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and PacGen Biopharmaceuticals, Corp. she
directed due diligence activities and evaluated merger and acquisition opportunities,
adding to her more than 10 years of experience in business development. Dr. Wang
has 12 years clinical experience as attending surgeon in general and laparoscopic
surgery and was one of the first laparoscopic surgeons in Sichuan province.
